πΊοΈ The Core & Zones
The world of CoreJourney revolves around a central point. The closer you get to the center, the more dangerous and exclusive the territory becomes.
- The Core: The absolute center of the map is located at coordinates **(x0, z0)**. Everyone initially spawns or respawns near the core, but you cannot interact with anything there until you reach **Level 50**.
- Getting Started: New and respawning players are sent to one of the **four spawn corners** located far away from the core in Zone 1. This is the safest starting area where you can gather resources and begin your journey.
- Zone Access: You can only enter and utilize zones that are equal to or lower than your current level. Reaching Level 50 is the maximum useful level, completely unlocking all 50 zones of the map including the Core.

π How Leveling Works
Traditional Minecraft experience does not grant you access to the world. Instead, you must manually craft specific minerals in your inventory or crafting table to earn Server EXP.
- Lapis Lazuli = 10 EXP per item crafted
- Quartz = 5 EXP per item crafted
β οΈ Important Notice: Villagers cannot trade lapis or quartz (they will offer standard dyes instead). You must mine these resources yourself!
EXP Progress Formula
Each level requires more experience than the last. The formula to unlock the next level is: $$\text{Level} \times 90\text{ EXP}$$
| Target Level | EXP Required | Equivalent in Lapis | Equivalent in Quartz |
|---|---|---|---|
| Level 2 | 180 EXP | 18 Lapis | 36 Quartz |
| Level 3 | 270 EXP | 27 Lapis | 54 Quartz |
| Level 50 | 4,500 EXP | 450 Lapis | 900 Quartz |

π Death & Consequences
CoreJourney is a hardcore multiplayer environment. Death has severe penalties:
- Temporary Ban: When you die, you are automatically banned from the server for 24 hours.
- Progress Reset: You lose all of your accumulated server levels and must start back at Level 1 in Zone 1 upon your return.

ποΈ Server Pillars
1) Minimal Vanilla Alteration
The server does not intend to alter baseline Vanilla mechanics. It simply adds a custom "hardcore multiplayer" layer on top of them, alongside a few commands to make the experience manageable. All standard vanilla mobs and complex redstone farms work exactly as expected.
To preserve the economy and server stability, only the following exploitable mechanics are explicitly blocked:
- TNT duping
- Autofishing
- Lapis and quartz trading with villagers
- Turning villagers into zombie villagers
The server is updated to the latest version of Minecraft as soon as a safe and stable build is available.
2) Minimal Admin Interference
The server administrator (wmantly) maintains a strict hands-off policy. Players' items, personal progress, and interactions with the world or each other will never be reset, altered, or moderated.
There are only two exceptions to this rule:
- Game-Breaking Issues: In the event of a critical technical exploit or issue that alters server state, the admin will intervene solely to restore the server's unaltered state.
- Server-Side Deaths: If a player dies due to documented server-side issues or lag, the admin can be contacted to revive the player and restore their lost levels (items cannot be restored).
3) Minimal Banning
Chat reporting is disabled. Features like griefing, raiding, and wild PvP are completely allowed and treated as core gameplay elements. A robust AntiCheat and AntiXray system is active to block and kick malicious clients, but it will not automate permanent bans. Client-side mods that do not trigger the anticheat (such as world downloaders, minimaps, and entity ESP) are permitted.
Players will only be banned under three extreme circumstances:
- Duping or intentionally exploiting the server to bypass AntiCheat/AntiXray measures.
- Intentionally creating lag machines or attacking server performance.
- Bot-like chat spamming or publishing content that is illegal in the United States.
